- Hawk Creek's 17th annual Wildlife Weekend and Renaissance Festival! Meet over 80 animals, including eagles, hawks, falcons, vultures, owls, and mammals. - “Friends of Wayne” Pasta Dinner Fundraiser Sunday, August 1, 2004 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Moose Lodge 113, 1000 Thomas Ave. Irondequoit, NY 14617 $10.00 all you can eat, $5.00 general admission (no dinner), 12 and under FREE MC/Host Katie Burdett from Mix 100.5, Live Irish Music and Dancing, Children’s Games, Raffles, Rosco the Clown, Kim Murray Karate Demo Wayne Dunbar, Jr. is a Senior at Gananda HighSchool. He is a competitive Irish StepDancer and is on the National Honor Society. He has kidney failure and receives hemodialysis 3x's a week at StrongMemorial Hospital. We are pursuing a kidney transplant. Wayne's uncle from Arizona is in the finaldonor evaluation stages. We need to do fundraisers to defray the costs for boththe donor, recipient/immediate family before, during and after transplantation.Costs consist of uninsured medical supplies, prescriptions, airfare, room andboard, car rental,etc. Any surplus funds will be donated to Golisano'sChildren's Hospital at Strong.
