Wayne's uncle from Arizona is in the finaldonor evaluation stages. We need to do fundraisers to defray the costs for boththe donor, recipient/immediate family before, during and after transplantation.Costs consist of uninsured medical supplies, prescriptions, airfare, room andboard, car rental,etc. Any surplus funds will be donated to Golisano'sChildren's Hospital at Strong. August 28 Historic Passages two day adventure This two day one night excursion aaboard our 32 foot sloop includes a half day of sailing from Little Sodus Bay to historic Oswego, America's oldest freshwater port followed by "shore leave". During our passage you'll see some ancient history in the form of ice age sculpted bluffs and drumlins of the lakeshore. You'll also learn of the lake's recent environmental history and of some of the many changes that have occurred here to the lake's fisheries and ecology since colonization by Europeans. After lunch in Oswego the group will take a walking and driving tour of Oswego's historic waterfront with visits to lock 7 on the Erie Canal, the H. L. White Maritime Museum, and the Oswego Maritime Foundation and tall ship project.
