Habitat for Cats. "Habitat for Cats was established in May of 1999 to help relieve the suffering of feral and homeless cats, who have been called, "The most neglected animal in the animal humane network". Our focus is to assist in the spaying and neutering in order to reduce the staggering feline overpopulation problem in Monroe, Ontario, Livingston and Surrounding counties. By doing so, we help the heartbreaking numbers of feral and homeless cats, well over 4,000 in number, that are euthanized every year in Monroe County alone. We are an all-volunteer group with miniscule overhead - we're the "Prudent, cat loving philanthropist's" choice!"

Human Society at Lollypop Farm. "The Pets Are Welcome program is another step toward our goal of becoming a Shelter of Hope for unwanted animals. The goal of the program is to find more homes for adoptable animals by encouraging pet owners and landlords to work together to find solutions for pet housing problems.
The P.A.W. program publishes The Rochester Pet Friendly Apartment List. This list identifies nearly 150 apartment complexes throughout the county that currently allow pets."
