- Nonprofit Works of Rochester, NY is presenting a one-day course for entry-level and mid-level grant grants. The course will cover the essentials of locating and selecting grants for your organization, and approaching and building relationships with funders so as to maximize your success. You will learn: -Research methods, including the best directories and online tools to use. -Methods for matching your organization's needs to funders' priorities. -How to select grants and create a grant-seeking strategy. -Tips for initiating contact with funders and establishing relationships prior to requesting money.
