- "Its a Kid's Life!" Musical
- This is a Musical Adventure for the Entire Family! WHAT! An original, funky, humorous and upbeat 2-act musical that celebrates learning, respect, peace and diversity in our city! Itís about kids and performed by an all-kid cast, ages 8-14, from the Maplewood area! WHO! About twenty kids who have explored vocal, theatre and visual arts for the past eight months. The program was designed to celebrate childrenís artistic gifts through original rhythm and blues-based, positive, message-laden songs actually written for kids. Much of the dialogue youíll hear are the kidsí own words about school, family and the issues we all face in todayís difficult world. This musical is a unique adventure with songs that address situations like going to school (itís cool!), celebrating their lunch ladies and, yes, even doing homework! It includes audience participation and laughter, surrounded by a potent, timely message that is inspiring and fun! Students from West Irondequoit High Schoolís Tri-M Music Honor Society participate as volunteers, mentors and support performers. This is high-energy entertainment, informational and loads of fun! Join us for an afternoon or evening! WHEN! Friday, January 31, 2003 at 7PM and Saturday, February 1 at 3PM WHERE!
