- "It's a Kid's Life!" Musical
- 7pm Thursday, March 25, 2004 Holy Rosary Elementary School 420 Lexington Avenue Rochester Tickets are available at www.moonbeam2earth.org or by calling 381-8779. $3 per person or $5 per family This is an original, funky, humorous and upbeat 2-act musical that promotes learning, respect, peace and diversity! A musical adventure for the entire family! Itís about kids, and performed by an all-kid cast, ages 7-11, from the Maplewood area! It includes audience participation and laughter, surrounded by a potent, timely message that is inspiring and fun! You'll hear songs that address issues like going to school (itís cool!), celebrating the lunch lady ("she helps me dine!"),and, yes, even doing homework! And two very important songs about your brain: "My Brain is Full, May I be Excused?" and "Brain Toilet!" will have you singing for the next two weeks, we guarantee it! The Moonbeam2earth Project, Inc. is a not-for-profit and was founded in 1999 to foster community youth development through innovative arts programs and performances in the Greater Rochester area. Their high-energy programs celebrate diversity and teach life lessons of peace and tolerance as tools for overcoming adversity. This project is funded by the Marie C. and Joseph C. Wilson Foundation, the John F. Wegman Fund, Target stores, Fred and Floy Willmott Foundation and the Goldberg Berbeco Foundation.
