- FRINGED GENTIANS AND FUNGI
- 9:00 a.m. September is the time to enjoy the Fringed Gentians in their glory along with Grass of Parnassus, Kalm's Lobelia, and other flowers that are found with them. We will also search the trails for a variety of fungi. Meet at 9:00 AM at the Holiday Inn on Jefferson Rd. near Rt. 390, in the NE corner of the parking lot to carpool from there to the park. Be sure to bring a lunch to enjoy in the park. Leaders: Bob and Carol Hinkelman, 663-2981. - Maize Quest. Find your way through the huge cornfield maze at Springdale Farm. Groups of 20 or more call for special dates and prices. - Pineway Ponds Park in Spencerport is the home of the Rochester Pagan Pride Festival.
