FRINGED GENTIANS AND FUNGI
9:00 a.m. September is the time to enjoy the Fringed Gentians in their glory along with Grass of Parnassus, Kalm's Lobelia, and other flowers that are found with them. We will also search the trails for a variety of fungi. Meet at 9:00 AM at the Holiday Inn on Jefferson Rd. near Rt. 390, in the NE corner of the parking lot to carpool from there to the park. Be sure to bring a lunch to enjoy in the park. Leaders: Bob and Carol Hinkelman, 663-2981. Maize Quest
Maize Quest. Find your way through the huge cornfield maze at Springdale Farm. Groups of 20 or more call for special dates and prices. Rochester Pagan Pride Festival
Pineway Ponds Park in Spencerport is the home of the Rochester Pagan Pride Festival. This year our speaker is Patricia Telesco, author of Urban Pagan, Goddess in my Pocket, 365 Goddess, etc. We will also have workshops, various rituals, a merchants row, childrens activities, Bloodmobile and much more! Bring a picnic lunch and a canned food donation for Quan Yin's Cupboard and come celebrate religious freedom and diversity in Rochester, NY
