- March 21 2203 Contact David Barnet 585 554-5461 Calendar Announcement Please publish during the week of March 21-22-23 Rochester Folk Art Guild “Spring Festival of Crafts in Rochester” March 21, 22, 23 Rochester Folk Art Guild annual Spring Festival of Crafts, at the Cutler Union of the Memorial Art Gallery, 500 University Avenue. Fine handcrafted work exhibited by this nationally recognized crafts community will include pottery, forged iron, hardwood furniture and turnings, wooden toys, graphic arts, wreaths, clothing, weaving, and designer items for the home. All are handcrafted at the Guild’s workshops in Middlesex, NY. Also for sale will be a careful selection of children’s and adult fiction and non-fiction. Exhibition Hours: Friday, 4 to 8 Saturday 10 to 5 Sunday, 11 to 5 Admission is $2.00 There is plenty of free parking For information, call 585 554-3539

- “It’s Kid’s Life!” Musical Show Celebrates Kids, Arts and Community! --The three producers and composers from the Moonbeam2earth Project, Inc. will present a musical program for families at Cobbles Elementary School at 140 Gebhardt Road in Penfield, on Friday March 21 at 7PM. “It’s a Kid’s Life!” is an original, funky, upbeat musical adventure that celebrates being a kid and promotes respect, peace, learning and diversity. It includes audience participation and laughter, surrounded by a potent, timely message that is inspiring and fun! It’s a positive message with a rhythm and blues beat you can dance to! That's what the Moonbeam2earth Project sends out at every performance. Songs like “I Love My Lunch Lady”, “The Custodian”, “Brain Toilet” and “Boogie Back to School” will get you moving and singing and, well…you’ll want to boogie!
