- Grant Writing Basics
- Nonprofit Works of Rochester, NY is presenting a 2 part course (Feb 14 and Feb 21) designed for entry-level and mid-level grant writers seeking to demystify the grant writing process, and learn what matters most when it comes to getting funded. Participants will elarn through a combination of presentations and group activities, and will also receive Word and Excell documents that they can customize for their use. Topics covered include:pursuing grants with the funder in mind; combining logic models with grant applications; preparing master grant application for multiple uses; creating and formatting budgets for grants; tracking and following up application after they're submitted. Note: Researching and Developing Grants, Feb 7, is recommended as a compliment to this course.
