New Beading Class
New Beading Class A3020 Beadwoven Square Stitch Bracelet February 17-March 3, 1-3 p. m. Instructor: Terry Byrne 1-3, Fee: $ 50 Get acquainted with the strongest member of the beadweaving family--square stitch. It's said that you can even cut into square stitched fabric and it will not un-ravel! It's a great stitch for bracelets-since they tend to take more punishment than other types of jewelry-and a bracelet is what we'll be making in this class. You'll learn the basic stitch technique, how to decrease, and how to attach a clasp. And, best of all, you'll welcome an elegant new bracelet to your collection! A materials list will be sent with confirmation of your registration. Beads can be purchased locally (a list of sources will be provided). Other materials may be purchased from the instructor. Expect the total cost of materials to be $15 to S20. Weavers' Guild of Rochester, Inc. Weaving & Fiber Arts Center at Village Gate Square Complex Box 20-Studio 407 302 N. Goodman Street Rochester, NY 14607 Call 461-1 770 to register or if you have questions Go to www.weaverscquildofrochester.org
